How It All Started...
I have always loved sports and athletics. I was involved in competitive league play in the sports of basketball, baseball, and track and field. After college, I worked as a physical therapist aide both in hospital and sports rehab settings. It inspired me to help others regain strength and mobility after injury, as well as rehabbing athletes back to full health.

I have worked with a wide range of individuals ranging from 5 years old to 90 years old, pregnant women, and athletes who have competed on every competitive level.

After several years of training individuals and small groups, I was introduced to CrossFit. I can remember my first workout named “The Filthy Fifty”. After struggling through it and nearly passing out from exertion, I was back at it the next day. What I love about Crossfit is the community aspect. It takes me back to the days of high school/college being on a team and working together for a common goal. To see people who come from different physical and social backgrounds and to experience the support that individuals have for one another is simply awesome.

I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA), a certified personal trainer by the American College of Sports Medicine, Crossfit Level 1 certified, a Level 1 Performance Coach through the USA Weightlifting Association and have a movement and mobility certification. I have a B.S. in Exercise Science from Georgia College & State University where I was a collegiate basketball player for four years.

I would love the opportunity to work with you either personally or through Group Strength and Conditioning training. I am committed to helping you reach your full potential and achieve your personal goals.

Success is largely a matter of holding on after others have let go. - William Feathers
